When will a new year…

When will a new year ever mean a new start? Why must one constantly be reminded of things in the past you’d rather forget? My biggie I want to forget? BILLS!!! My hubbie and I owe more than we’d like to to more companies than we’d like to. I wish I could blame it all on him, but it’s probably mostly my shopping addition that has gotten us no where and fast! So in a feeble attempt to remedy the past, I’m digging through my stuff and going to post like crazy to Ebay and then Etsy in an attempt to get some cash for stuff I really don’t need and then turn it over to pay off bills. I think today I’ll start with some DVDs and books because they’re so easy to list…

Happy New Year

So I’m sitting here at my computer attempting to multi-task between old-school and modern technology. It’s now just after midnight and I find myself recovering from having the begeebers scared out of me by what sounded like a gunshot right outside the window which I’m sure was some teenager in the neighborhood that’s up to no good and not working on the school projects given to him by his wonderful high school teachers. And the thought occurred to me that I wanted to totally revise my blog, which now means this will be the first post of hopefully many to come. However, this thought occurred to me while in the middle of writing a thank you note for Christmas gifts – my last minute resolution for 2008 which has now seeped it’s way into 2009 like all other resolutions. And so I find it much more difficult to switch between typing on the computer and writing things down on paper, and I might add that writer’s cramp sets in much faster than carpel tunnel syndrome. Now that my heart is back at it’s normal rate and all the revel raising has simmered down I will continue on my mission to finish my thank you notes.
